When inserting an image, let the user to upload a file instead of specifying an URL

It should be possible to insert images that are in the "site library" or enable the user to upload an image and make a reference to it in the document instead of using an (probably) external URL.

This really isn't a WYMeditor issue - it's up to the respective developer to integrate WYM with the file/image manager of choice. What we could do is provide some kind of hooks for this to make the integration process easier.

For now I'm setting this as wontfix, as it's already possible to do this (although it requires some effort) and a new dialog api is already planned for 0.6.
